Vibration caused by diesel engines is the major contributing factor to metal fatigue and stress placed on pivotal joints on an exhaust system. When the vehicle is in motion, uneven road surfaces and gear changes are further contributors to untimely breakages to the manifold, front pipes and exhaust system.
