Congel Congel   Congel™ is a sterile transparent polyurethane gel dressing containing 60% water, while Congel Comfort has a hypoallergenic adhesive polyurethane film border to prevent bacterial penetration. • Congel™ & Congel Comfort™ create a moist environment, suitable for treating chronic wounds, promoting wound healing, while a slight cooling effect aids patients comfort. • Congel™ & Congel Comfort™ do not adhere to wounds, and have good cushioning effect. • Allow free passage of gases and moisture vapor protecting the skin against maceration. • Leaves no residue on wound upon removal of the dressing. • Congel™ & Congel Comfort™ are transparent thus allowing the healing process to be observed without removing the dressing, promoting formation of new tissue during  the granulation phase. • Congel™ & Congel Comfort™ do not dissolve by absorbed wound exudates. • Congel™ & Congel Comfort™ are individually packed in moisture proof pouches sterilized by radiation. Indications Suitable for treatment of chronic and slow healing wounds in granulation epithelialization phase. Due to a three dimensional structure of Congel™ & Congel Comfort™, and high water content, they are suitable for use in debriding and for second degree burns. Contraindications   Congel™ & Congel Comfort™ should not be used on infected wounds nor on third degree burns.
